How many people can go on a flight?

Each flight can accommodate up to 2 people (on top of the pilot).

Can I take pictures during the scenic flight?

Of course! You can take pictures and videos during the whole flight, just don’t forget your camera :-)

Can children come on a scenic flight?

Children are also welcome to fly with us; we recommend the children to be at least 4 years old for short flights (30-minute), and 6 years old for longer flights (60-minute and more). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Parental consent is required for minors.

Do you provide transportation to/from Prangins airfield?

Taxis / Uber are available from the train station of Nyon (7-8 minutes from the airfield). If we are available, transfers from the train station of Nyon are possible upon request.

When are scenic flights available?

We fly throughout the year, Monday through Sunday, and every season has its own unique beauty - it's impossible to choose a favorite. In autumn, the landscape comes alive with vibrant colors. Winter brings calm air and magical landscapes with mountains covered with snow. Spring showcases a breathtaking contrast between snow-capped glaciers and lush green forests, while summer offers playful cumulus clouds that add a special charm to the flight. During summertime, we recommend booking your flight in the morning, as summer weather tends to be more unstable in the afternoon, and the chances of being able to fly are significantly higher earlier in the day. Also, there are usually more availabilities during weekdays.

What are the requirements for an airplane flight?

Flights can be scheduled for any day, Monday through Sunday, but they are subject to suitable weather conditions. Weather decisions are typically made 1-2 days before the flight. If a flight needs to be cancelled, we will notify you ASAP. Please note that, due to airport regulations, flights cannot be scheduled between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Is the airplane equipped with safety features?

Our aircraft is meticulously maintained in full compliance and we follow all safety regulations without compromise. The customer acknowledges and accepts that the practice of aviation involves inherent risks, the customer declares to be aware of the risks and waives any claim in the event of damage or injury resulting from the flight.

Will I get a window seat?

Every passenger on our scenic flights will have a window seat. Your pilot will assign the most appropriate seat for each passenger, taking into account the specific loading requirements of the aircraft.

What kind of airplane do you have?

We use a single-engine piston airplane "Piper PA-28 180 Cherokee".

Can the window/door be opened during flight to take photos?

No, this is not possible due to safety reasons.

Age, weight & health

The maximum height allowed is 195 cm, and the maximum weight is 105 kg. It is generally safe to fly while pregnant, we advise all pregnant passengers to consult their treating doctor or midwife before planning a flight. Parental consent is required for minors. Individuals with back and ears issues or heart conditions should consult a doctor before flying. Under no circumstances will the pilot be held responsible for health issues before, during or after the flight.

Children are welcome to fly with us, but it's important that they are genuinely enthusiastic about the experience - otherwise, the flight may become challenging for everyone involved. 

Please note that we do not recommend scenic flights for babies or children under 4 years old, as the aircraft is not pressurized like commercial airliners. The ascent and descent may cause discomfort in their ears.
