How many people can go on a flight?

Each flight can accommodate 2 or 3 people (on top of the pilot), depending on the weight of the passengers and weather conditions.

Can I take pictures during the scenic flight?

Of course! You can take pictures and videos during the whole flight, just don’t forget your camera :-)

Can children come on a scenic flight?

Children can also fly with us; we recommend the children to be at least 4 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you provide transportation to/from Prangins airfield?

Taxis / Uber are available from the train station of Nyon. Transfers from the train station of Nyon are possible upon request.

When are scenic flights available?

We fly throughout the year, and every season has its own unique beauty - it's impossible to choose a favorite. In autumn, the landscape comes alive with vibrant colors. Winter brings calm air, snow on the mountains and improved aircraft performance thanks to the cold. Spring showcases a breathtaking contrast between snow-capped glaciers and lush green forests, while summer offers playful cumulus clouds that add a special charm to the flight. During summertime, we recommend booking your flight in the morning, as summer weather tends to be more unstable in the afternoon, and the chances of being able to fly are significantly higher earlier in the day. Also, there are usually more availabilities during weekdays.

What are the requirements for an airplane flight?

Flights can be scheduled for any day, but they are subject to suitable weather conditions. Weather decisions are typically made 1-2 days before the flight. If a flight needs to be cancelled, we will notify you. Please note that, due to airport regulations, flights cannot be scheduled between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Is the airplane equipped with safety features?

Our aircraft is meticulously maintained in full compliance and we follow all safety regulations without compromise. The customer acknowledges and accepts that the practice of aviation involves inherent risks, the customer declares to be aware of the risks and waives any claim in the event of damage or injury resulting from the flight.

Will I get a window seat?

Every passenger on our scenic flights will have a window seat. Your pilot will assign the most appropriate seat for each passenger, taking into account the specific loading requirements of the aircraft.

What kind of airplane do you have?

We use a single-engine piston airplane "Piper PA-28 180 Cherokee".

Can the window/door be opened during flight to take photos?

No, this is not possible due to safety reasons.

Age, weight & health

The maximum height allowed is 195 cm, and the maximum weight is 105 kg. It is generally safe to fly while pregnant, we advise all pregnant passengers to consult their treating doctor or midwife before planning a flight. Parental consent is required for minors. Individuals with back and ears issues or heart conditions should consult a doctor before flying. Under no circumstances will the pilot be held responsible for health issues before, during or after the flight.

Children are welcome to fly with us, but it's important that they are genuinely enthusiastic about the experience - otherwise, the flight may become challenging for everyone involved.

Please note that we do not recommend scenic flights for babies or children under 4 years old, as the aircraft is not pressurized like commercial airliners. The rapid ascent and descent may cause discomfort in their ears.

In case of airsickness, paper bags are available.

Prior to the flight

What do I need to take with me for the flight?

Camera, sunglasses and your good vibes :) The headset will be provided. Please come as lightly laden as possible.

How to prepare optimally for this experience?

We recommend having a light snack about two hours before your flight. It is best not to fly on an empty stomach, and maintaining a stable blood sugar level is important. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

What time should we meet at the airfield?

Please arrive at the airfield about 20-30 minutes before your scheduled flight time. The pilot will review safety regulations with you and provide an overview of what to expect during your flight.

Are scenic flights carried out in any weather?

Scenic flights are only conducted in favorable weather conditions for safety reasons but also to have the best experience out of it (clear skies, good visibility, and light winds). If the weather is not suitable, we will either reschedule your flight for another date of your choice.

Is there a parking available at the airfield?

Yes, parking is free and there are plenty spaces available

Booking & cancellation

Can I book a private flight for e.g. wedding, marriage proposal, birthday or company event?

Of course! With a private flight, both the duration and the route can be customized to suit your preferences. We are happy to provide personalized advice for your unique flight experience. Please contact us to make arrangements.

How to book a scenic flight?

Please send a request via the booking form or the contact form.

Do you offer group discounts for scenic flights?

No, we do not offer any discounts for our scenic flights and excursions.

What if the weather is too bad for the flight and it is cancelled?

We will postpone your flight to another date of your choice.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

In the event of a cancellation, the following costs will be incurred by the purchaser:

1. 0% - Cancellation with more than 7-day notice

2. 50% - Cancellation with 72 hours notice

3. 100% - Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice or in the event of not showing up
